Without an account, your data stays in your browser
Saved properties, favourite agencies, saved searches, inquiry history and settings are kept only in your browser's local storage (localStorage) and are not sent to us. You can delete them on the “Saved” and “My Profile” pages or by clearing your browser data.
Inquiries
When you send an inquiry, we store your name, e-mail, phone (if given), message, location (for a “We search for you” inquiry), page language and IP address, and forward them to the agency or, for a “We search for you” inquiry, to the RealEstateCroatia.com team. The legal basis is taking steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Inquiries are kept for [period] and then deleted.
User account
For an account we store your e-mail address, password (only as a protected hash), name (if given), settings, saved properties, agencies and searches, and your inquiry history. The legal basis is the contract for using the service (Art. 6(1)(b)). Deleting your account on the “My Profile” page deletes everything saved; inquiries already sent remain with the agencies.
Security
To prevent abuse we log the IP addresses of requests and limit the number of requests. Forms use the Cloudflare Turnstile security check, which processes your IP address and technical browser data. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
AI search
The text you enter into AI search is processed by Microsoft Azure OpenAI to turn it into filters. We do not send it any account data — please do not enter personal data in the description.
Cookies and local storage
We use only essential cookies: account sign-in, form protection and your chosen language. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase and port your data, to restrict processing and to object. Send requests to info@realestatecroatia.com. You may lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (azop.hr).
