Vis, Rukavac - apartment house near the sea

LOCATION The island of Vis is a rare Mediterranean pearl of exceptional natural beauty, rich cultural heritage, fishing tradition and friendly natives. It is the island that will enchant you and show you a completely different world where everything is simple, relaxed and special. Vis was isolated as a military base so that it preserved its original charm and beauty, and it was precisely this isolation that saved it from being concreted. The town of Vis is the only place on the island that is daily connected to Split by ferry and catamaran line throughout the year. It is also connected by a direct line to Ancona in Italy. Rukavac is quiet and picturesque, once a fishing village, but now a real tourist village, it is 10 km from the town of Vis, and 16 km from Komiža. It is located on the southeastern side of the island of Vis and is also the largest settlement and the safest port on the southern side of the island. There are numerous beaches in the immediate vicinity; Tepluš, Rukovac, the most famous of which is the Srebrena beach, a natural, pebbly beach that rightfully belongs to the most beautiful beaches in Dalmatia, and numerous islands and islets, the most famous of which is the island of Ravnik with the famous natural phenomenon, the Green Cave.
